The game looked to head into the extra time but then came on the late drama as another United corner saw Sheringham’s header guided home by Solskjaer, helping United win the Champions League almost unexpectedly.

follow United have always encouraged promoting youth and Sir Alex Ferguson exactly did that with all the success he achieved. The likes of Gary Neville, Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs, David Beckham, Nicky Butt, Phil Neville were part of the famous Class of 92 which saw the youngsters go on and become legends for the club, which always give us strong reminders of the benefits of promoting and encouraging young talent.
