Sessegnon is one of the hottest young prospects as the 17-year-old is expected to become one of the most expensive signings given the interest he has grabbed. Ryan is closely scouted and watched by both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United. Both clubs are known to promote and develop youth prospects at a good level, and it is expected that both of them will go head-to-head to sign the youngster. Fulham will look to capitalise from the interests and get some huge amount for the youngster. Get our predictions here.
The Algerian was touted to become a huge sensation after a superb season with Leicester City the season before the last one. Surprisingly, he remained with the Foxes for another season where he couldn’t be as amazing as he was before. He still remains one of the wanted wingers in the league, but it was a shock how he failed to land up at another club after a thrilling deadline day this summer. In spite of that, Mahrez can still be expected to join another club sooner or later.
Virgil Van Dijk:
The Dutch defender has handed in a transfer request at Southampton given strong links with a move to Liverpool. It is surprising though that Van Dijk has remained with the Saints as the transfer market closes for this summer. Van Dijk is one of the better centre backs in the league and is wanted by Manchester City and Liverpool and given he is still at Southampton he will be desperately wanted in the winter transfer window.
Another player who was expected to have a transfer but failed to is Alexis Sanchez. The Arsenal attacker was apparently frustrated with the unproductive results at the club even after giving his best. Sanchez is yet to renew his contract which expires this season, and with his absence in the Champions League, a lot of clubs can be expected to go for his signature come to the winter transfer window. Sanchez was strongly linked to Manchester City this summer but is expected to have more offers come January.
The Brazilian has been very impressive at Liverpool, and although he hasn’t been able to win trophies, Coutinho sure has shown his true potential. Coutinho was strongly linked with a move to Barcelona especially after the departure of Neymar, but Liverpool had a strong chance of not selling the Brazilian, and it has remained the same way as the window closed. Liverpool need to do better with their performances as there will be no way that they will be able to stop Coutinho from leaving in the next transfer window.
