Footballers who could possibly become successors of Cristiano Ronaldo

  1. Marcus Rashford

The young Englishman has showed some great potential and character on the field. At the age of 19, Rashford has become a regular at Manchester United which is a big achievement. He has scintillating pace, can dribble past players and has that eye for goal, something Ronaldo had at a very young age. Rashford though, has a long way to go before he develops into a fine footballer and hopefully resembling what Ronaldo has achieved with his career.

  1. Ousmane Dembele

The Frenchman is now with Barcelona alongside Messi and will sure learn a lot under the great Argentine. Dembele is equally effective with either of his feet and can cause some serious damage on song. Being in the La Liga, will always bring tough competition but if he manages to thrive well under the pressure and tests, Dembele has the potential to become the successor of Cristiano Ronaldo.

  1. Marco Asensio

At the age of 21, Asensio looks quite the talent. The young Spaniard has been very impressive for the junior national team and also his club Real Madrid. With his sweet left foot, Asensio has the ability to score from long range with immaculate precision and also possesses the dribbling skills to beat past players. Under Zinedine Zidane, Asensio can learn a lot can go on to become the next Ronaldo.

  1. Kylian Mbappe

The Frenchman finally secured a move to PSG this summer transfer window from Monaco. The 18 year old has already stunned many with his outrageous performances on the field. With his lethal pace, quick feet and exquisite finishing, Mbappe looks a very good scope for the future. He has things to learn but with the right nurturing, Mbappe can become as big a star as Ronaldo in the future.

  1. Eden Hazard

The Belgian looked sharp last season when he won the Premier League with Chelsea but inconsistency and injuries have been a hurdle to Hazard’s progress. The Chelsea winger has quick feet, nimble footwork and great dribbling abilities. If he can manage to avoid injuries, Hazard can surely reach new heights of success and come close to succeeding Ronaldo in the near future.

  1. Neymar

The Brazilian made a huge statement by joining PSG this summer window and leaving Barcelona. He is no more under Messi’s shadows and can go all out to express himself on the pitch. Neymar is an outstanding dribbler of the ball, he can make some stunning runs with the ball and can constantly be a threat to the opposition. With all the freedom at PSG Neymar is expected to succeed immensely and make more name for himself.
