Immediately after winning the presidency, Perez went on to sign Figo and made a statement of his capabilities and intentions. It was a heart-breaking moment for the Catalan fans, seeing one of their best players join their title rivals. Till date, the Barcelona fans have not forgotten what Figo did, and it is likely they won’t be forgetting it in the near future too.
