This time the Catalan giants will come prepared and will not accept no. The departure of Neymar to PSG might have left a void, but they received more than enough for him. Though Barcelona managed to buy Ousmane Dembele for 135.5 million pounds, the French forward suffered an injury which kept him on the bench for the rest of the year. Manchester United needs to step up their game
Manchester United started the season well and good with brilliant football resulting in wins. But the Red Devils have slipped behind in the table after three back to back draws. Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba recently urged his team to wake up and start to win. United drew with Leicester City and Burnley and then again failed to win against Southampton at Old Trafford. These draws have lost Manchester United valuable points as they now sit behind Chelsea in the third spot. The gap between them and leaders Manchester City now has increased to 15 points. To make matters worse, the Jose Mourinho led side has lost two of their strikers to injury. Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who just came back from an injury, has again been sidelined for a month due to a knee problem. Ashley Young, who is an extremely vital presence for Mourinho on the field, could face a ban of up to three games for an elbow to Dusan Tadic. Things are indeed looking a bit grim for Jose Mourinho and Manchester United right now.
Romelu Lukaku suffers head injury
Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku suffered a blow to the head in the game against Southampton at Old Trafford. The striker clashed his head against Wesley Hoedt, and he had to be taken off on a stretcher. There were reports that the Belgian would be off for at least two games.
