Players who are doing exceptionally well under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

5. Ander Herrera:

The former Athletic Bilbao midfielder was not a regular starter under Jose Mourinho. Under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer things have drastically changed for him. Herrera is not only a regular starter but he has become one of United’s most important players on the pitch. His relentless work-rate in the midfield combined with his defensive and passing abilities have been very helpful for United. Also, his partnership with Nemanja Matic has helped Paul Pogba  to flourish while going forward and proved very profitable.

4. Anthony Martial:

Martial surely had his issues with Jose Mourinho and if things would have remained the same, we might have seen the Frenchman leave the club. But with Ole’s arrival, Martial has rejuvenated his form and looked very good while going forward. There was never a doubt about the capabilities he possessed in the attack and now it seems Martial is enjoying his football with the goals scored and looks a big threat going forward.

3. Victor Lindelof:

The Swedish center back has only grown better with his time at United especially under Ole. With United struggling at the back more than often and not going for a new center back either in summer or in the January window, Lindelof has stepped up and is currently United’s best center back. The Icemanlooks composed at the back and is doing very well with his smart positioning and effective tackling. If United manage to get a quality center back alongside him next summer, United have a very good chance to challenge for the title.

2. Marcus Rashford:

The English youngster is one of the most talented youngsters in the football world right now and under Ole he has looked at his best. As a striker, Rashford has done incredibly well in scoring, assisting and holding up the ball. His overall game has looked excellent and is currently beaming with confidence going forward. He is preferred over Romelu Lukaku to lead the line and with his current form, he will look to help United finish in the top four this season.

  1. Paul Pogba:

It is no secret that the relationship between Pogba and Jose Mourinho had gone to a bad state and it was only after the latter was shown the door that Pogba has looked threatening. Pogba is one of the best midfielders in the world and it is clearly shown in his form right now. Ever since Ole took over, Pogba has been involved in the most amount of goals in the Premier league and if  there’s one player who could definitely help United finish in the top four, it is him.
