5. Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur):
Gone are the days when there were doubts if Harry Kane was a one-season wonder. The England captain has already scored 14 goals this season and assisted in four others. He has been a massive asset for Spurs and it is only fair that he gets to win a silverware this season. That being said, Kane will have to put in a lot of efforts to ensure that but either way he remains as one of the best strikers in the Premier league right now.
4. Raheem Sterling (Manchester City):
Sterling has truly shown great revelation in his gameplay ever since Pep Guardiola took over as Manchester City manager. His decision making and productivity in the final third has drastically improved and has been very beneficial for City especially with Kevin De Bruyne sidelined with most part of the season with an injury. The former Liverpool man has been amongst the goals and assists and he will have to play a major hand if City are to defend their title this season.
3. Virgil Van Djik (Liverpool):
Liverpool desperately needed to strengthen their backline and although Van Djik was signed last season, his true value is seen this season. The Dutch defender has truly calmed and stabilized Liverpool’s backline and given them a massive chance to win the Premier league after almost 29 years. Van Djik’s dominating display at the back allows their attackers to go out with total freedom and make sure that the goalkeeper Alisson Becker has very little to do every match.
2. Mohamed Salah (Liverpool):
The Egyptian had a fabulous season last year and he was expected to do the same this season. Salah started slowly but is looking to get back to a similar form this season and is getting involved in goals once again. Jurgen Klopp will look up to Salah more this season to make his performances count and ensure a title win this season and make history.
- Eden Hazard (Chelsea):
Eden Hazard had a stunning 2018 World Cup in Russia and luckily for Chelsea he has carried the same form in the Premier league this season. He has been a constant threat this season while going forward but has at times lacked support from his teammates. With this being a defining season in his career as he is strongly linked to a move to Real Madrid next summer, Hazard is looking to provide his best for the London club and ensure a successful season for the Blues.
